Thumbnail candidates
- A clear landscape image showing the place or main experience
- An honest view of the key menu, room, or scenery
- A simple composition readable at small sizes
Never use
- Unrelated, dark, or badly blurred images
- Text and stickers that hide the subject
- Unlicensed promotional media
- Heavily composited or misleading images
Body images and alt text
Avoid repeating the same photo. Place images in visit order. Alt text should accurately describe visible content and context, not hide keywords.
